Negative Effects of Cell Phones on Youth

It is a well-known saying that, youth is the root of any nation and they have a good amount of role in developing a nation. However, there are several instruments prevailing in our society, that are derailing our youth from the track.
Besides other factors, excessive usage of cell phone is having negative effects on youth. How does it affect the youth? Read this.
Impact on Education:
Cell phone is the only device that allows student to take answers of questions either in home exam or final exam or class quiz. It is my observation that students use cell phone during examination to ask answers from outsiders. Another way to using cell phones in exam is bluetooth. Via bluetooth (in cell phones) and bluetooth ear phone accessories, student can cheat easily in exam by simply making a call.
Cell phones also disturb the studies of student during class or lecture. I have noticed that many of the students are busy in texting during class, when teacher asks question from student doing texting, he can’t speak anything and keeps a mum. It is not wrong to say that physically students are attending the lecture but mentally he/she is in the world of texting.
Modification of Language:
One day, I received a message containing a word ‘OMG’ in it. I was thinking what “OMG” is. After some days, finally I found that it is short form of “Oh My GOD”. Same happened with ‘lolz’. Cell phones also change the language and behavior of students.  If same thing will happens with you like me, don’t worry it is the gift from mobile to our youth.
Sexting:
The newest thing to hit young cell phones users which I found is sexting. Verbal texts, pictures or videos can be sent easily. Those who receive these type of messages, they send it out in one go, leading to distribution of detrimental sexual material to a massive audience.
Addiction:
Our youth is addicted to cell phones and night packages, sms packages and that entire staff is making the life of youth a hell. Our youth is spell-bounded by these packages by talking with opposite sex. It is very sad that youth is getting away from their own targets, goals & motives. Their mind is not only becoming stagnant. There is no creativity and innovation. Do you know, night packages (whole night conversation) blocked this creativity?
In Pakistan, most of the youth is student. They are losing the essence of their profession/studies. Our youth is now psychological weak.
Far away from families:
Another effect of cell phones that I found in youth is that, our youngsters are now far away from families. They don’t have any time for families but has time for mobile. They lie to their parents. They have forgotten their norms and values.
In short, I would like to say that the young generation is not only the stars of nation but also Shaheens of Allama Muhammad Iqbal.

Ever since the early 1990s when cell phone use became widespread, the devices have had a major impact on society. While some effects have been negative, such as the practice of driving while talking on cell phones, they have also had many positive effects. Cell phones can facilitate communication and help family and friends keep in close contact. They have also played a positive role in the operation of businesses.

Peace of Mind

Cell phones offer parents the peace of mind that they can contact their kids at any time. They can also feel better knowing that their kids can either contact them or the authorities in the event of an emergency situation. People who travel for a living can feel better knowing that if their vehicle breaks down and they become stranded, help is just a quick phone call away.

Keeping in Touch

Friends and family members who live far apart can easily keep in touch via cell phone. You don't have to worry about not being at home since the cell phone can go where you go. Kids who are away at college can keep their parents informed of their progress and spouses who are separated due to a lengthy business trip can stay in frequent contact.

Business

 

Cell phones can make a difference on how business is conducted. Salespeople can get back to customers more quickly and can conduct business from virtually anywhere. A manager of a fleet of commercial vehicles can easily stay in touch with his drivers and alert them to last-minute changes in a delivery schedule, even if they are in a hotel or have stopped for a bite to eat.

Social Networking

Cell phones can contribute to one's ability to network and to broadcast a message to the masses. For example, you can use your cell phone's text message feature to send and received messages via social networking websites such as Twitter, so you can communicate with large groups of people without the need to be near a computer.

Information Exchange

Much like the Internet, cell phones increase the ability to exchange and spread information. People with cell phones can spread the word about an important or newsworthy incident as it occurs, giving people the sense of always being "in the loop." Camera phones can enhance this exchange of information by adding a visual element.

2.ทำให้เกิดอาการประสาทหลอน ว่าได้ยินเสียงโทรเข้ามา

3.ทำให้เกิดอาชญากรรมอันถึงแก่ชีวิตได้ หากโทรศัพท์ของคุณสะดุดเข้าตาโจร

4.ทำให้อารมณ์ร้อนของคุณ มีความรุนแรงมากยิ่งขึ้น เพราะคุณจะใช้การโทรศัพท์ในการเติมเชื้อไฟ มากว่าจะอยู่กับตัวเองทบทวนปัญหา

5.โทรศัพมือถือมีประโยชน์สารพัดอย่างสะดวกสบายเยอะแยะไปหมดอธิบายไม่ถูกเลยละ
